INSIDE YOUR TUNNEL: PART ONE

At AW Technology we strive to provide our clients with high-quality support, as part of that, we’re introducing a regular “Inside your tunnel” feature, to help you get the very most from our products and keep them performing well for years to come.

Our first feature focuses on how to keep backing up your all-important data, such as calibration factors and test profile parameters. 

All AW Technology test tunnels are supplied with our powerful, flexible, easy to use software, LabTunnel. 

On dispatch from our production department, your tunnel will have its own unique configuration file, named tunnel.ini. It’s this file that contains your data and the more you use your tunnel and configure it to suit your own needs, the more unique and important your tunnel.ini file becomes. 

AW Technology will always keep a copy of your tunnel.ini file as it was when we shipped it to you, so if your PC suffers a major issue, we can help you to revert back to delivery status. But it is vital that you take frequent backups of your tunnel.ini file as it 'grows' with you.
